- Maybe, whats the logic behind expensive LLT Just too easy to put em all over? Ive thought about reducing the DPS on LLT and giving it HP instead, so its not as anti-raidery, differentiates from antiswarm, doesnt stack so well.
- Theoretically i think faction diff LLT is a real problem, in practice it only really crops up in com wars. Anything else where its a big issue?
- While this means bombers are more likely to die when directly bombing AA, it seriously impacts their penetration power when trying to do deep strikes. Reducing speed or making the run completely straight (rather than bent at the end) will increase the time they are in AA range. We have been talking about swapping the weights on the strat/prec bomber, so the prec is the one with the HP and penetration power.
- Rocko: +1, new script buffs it. Nerf weapon? velocity, DPS?
- Storm has script errors, unpack, etc with new model. Also new arc isnt ideal seems to miss more despite the arc being an attempt to fix that.
- Thud has serious hp, it just walks through defense. I dont think its so bad. I think with rocko nerf thud will seem better.
- Fusion: Probably could do with slightly more HP, but you'll notice superfusion takes the place of old fusion in weight. We really dont have a place in CA for a 10k cost e structure so we just removed adv solar and scaled everything down.
- Faster outlaw/warrior makes them better for intercepting, but it also makes them better against ranged units, incl skirms and defenses.
- Jack is the slowest after com, lowest range unit in the game. It can be a problem if rushed but its an expensive rush and if you lose it, lol gg.
- Pyro has been through the wars, last spring version broke its DPS to like 10x (faster damage updates), then we tried to fix its lack of prediction by giving it a new weapontype, which broke its fire fx etc etc. So yeah, it needs looking at, but #1 we still need to figure out how to give it prediction.
- Slasher is cheaper, is it that much worse?
Licho
- please dont do sweeping changes now to many units at once
- check mod stats, both rocko and storm are slightly OP, no need to buff storm!
SirMaverick
- Thud: besides Clogger, it has best hp/cost
- Jack: slowest unit; can be countered due to weapon range (needs space and micro)
Google Frog
- Sak: Isn't LLT suppose to be anti raider? It should probably be a bit worse against other things. Increasing weight would make choosing how defensively you want to expand more important so it could be a good idea.
- Faction diff LLT is most important in comm wars but even other times Core LLT is better. It is a little more expensive to place but is better against more things than the Arm one is.
- We should go ahead and swap Bomber weights. Prec is suppose to be the penetration bomber.
- Licho, I trust play testing much much more than modstats. Also modstats is broken for me.
- Rocko is defiantly OP. It has been stealth buffed by the model. The hitsphere center is lower than it used to be making less units able to shoot at it at once, some units can sort of shoot over each other on the edge due to sphereical hit spheres. The Rocko hitsphere is also small making it less hitable. What might be causing it to be so OP is that the hitsphere is so low that they can easily shoot over each other. Try making the hitsphere larger and higher before any other changes.
- Storm a little UP although I' want to change Rocko first.
- Thud might just be a by product of OP Rocko and UP Storm.
- Outlaw/Warrior could be a bit faster without being OP, it's a good idea. Currently a lot more cost in antiswarm is needed to cover all areas which is probably why LLT is spammed. It's the only effective antiswarm that can cover many areas
- Fusion is fine as is imo.
- Jack is only very powerful right at the start against certain strats. If it is really a problem we could increase cost to be unboostable but it doesn't look like it's too good.
- I think Samsons are able to fire over each other and Slashers can't. Also Samson doesn't overkill. I don't think Slasher is UP though.
Saktoth
- We have an antiswarm turret, llt should just be a versatile 'least minimum' sort of defense.
- On modstats, you have to approach this thing hollistically. Modstats is just another tool. The storm and thud are both great against defenses, but not against units. The AK, roach and outlaw are good against units, but are exceptionally useless vs defenses. The rocko is good against both. This makes it hard as core to attack and defend at the same time. Either way you look at it though, the script changes are a buff to rocko and a nerf to storm.
