Licho: basically I dislike new tachyon hit and color, new bombs and also green lasers (but im minority on green lasers)
Saktoth: I dislike the new tachyon but i also dislike the old one. I dislike the bomber effect. Love the heat ray. What else was changed? Also, i liked the old math for beam laser width it was more pronounced.
Kaine: Whoa, what is with all the revert cries from everyone? The effects have great potential, they are just incomplete and need some fixing. The annihilator laser needs a bit more saturation color tweaking. I like the spikey energy effect, it just needs to be placed alongside the large flash and the particle explosion instead of on its own. The bombs are fine themselves, they are just vastly uglified by the massive amounts of monocolor dirt, which it could do without. Green lasers look great IMO, though the ground hit effect should be smaller and less sparkly. Nothing is final here. All of the effects are subject to change, and Im sure zerggin is just fine with improving his effects.
Evil4Zerggin: Unfortunately, quite frankly I don't have the time or motivation to deal with this ATM. I'm going to revert bombs and tachyon. You can tweak the effects if you want, but I'm not going to have anything to do with them in the immediate future. There's no hard feelings; I simply do not want to deal with this right now. I may return to them later.
Licho: I guess that there is now way to make everyone happy. For people dealing with effects, such polls are only indicative (what needs changing). Feel free to improve effects (anyone). I just liked tachyon effect more before and I dislike star hit effect. Bomber is not big change really except for the dirt.
And I also agree with Saktoth, previous math on beam width seemed to be better.
Saktoth: the problem with the bomber, imo, is the sparkley orange star. Thats all. It was a good effect before, other than the water effect (which i think looks better now?).
