Notes:

  • Units should be stronger vs other types of units (riot, skirm, etc.) but rock-paper-scissor style balancing (a la CnC) should not be implemented. I think the "achieve balance via dynamics" clause of CA design philosophy helps prevent that well enough...
  • CA seriously needs a new GUI
  • Names need to be easy to remember and easy to write. Machina, while embodying much of what CA is about, does not fulfill the two previously stated criteria. Robocracy, however, does. It is (mostly) phonetic, easy to remember, sticks in your head, and embodies the lighter side of CA as well as the machina stuff. Thus, my vote.
  • All planes ATM have bottom-mounted weapons. How would a gunship with a top-mounted weapon perform?
