Saktoth: Id suggest we just rely on the background, ala supcom. Water and Air units dont need to be marked (a ship or plane is obvious), while amphibs should be taken on a beach with water making up a part of the image.

Saktoth: I think these are too busy, it will be hard to see them clearly at low res on models. They also seem to follow a good vs evil theme.

Licho: I agree with saktoth. Logos should be 1 color only and more simple. Core logo looks "evil" (could be improved by turning upside down), and arm logo looks too simplistic/geometric for a side concerned with the perfection of form.

Kaine: Right, complexity of the logos can be used on other things, but I see now they arent practical for what were doing. Ill try to work on simplifying them. I dont even like the core one anymore, so Im trying somthing else with that. Arm I think is great in concept at least, but needs a little something else to emphasize the whole perfection of form thing.

Saktoth: Do you guys like that 'perfection of code/perfection of form thing'? I dont want to be dictating the story entirely here, this is a collaborative process.

Licho: the logo is still too complex. I really suggest it should use just 1 shade of color - just one color and as simple shape as possible. That means its up to shape to make the impact, not up to coloring/small details which WONT be visible. Its then easier to see from far and easier to recolor by team colors etc..

Kaine: No one likes them I guess, though I seem to have inspired a couple of other people to try their own logos... thats cool. Possibly due to my crappiness. Ill put up the old core one, It was to evil looking for its use, but I like it and it could be useful on somthing else.

CarRepairer: Just for the record, I like the devilish core one you made, even if it's not suitable for the game we're making. I like logos that aren't just a bunch of circles and triangles and look like mickey mouse. Something that is simple but still looks like you drew it rather than generated geometric shapes. I guess we're kind of looking for Core=pure unfeeling logic and rationality, Arm=emotion, art and beauty.
