When placing land structure to sea - auto terraform to land level first

Description

I would prefer this to adv fusions buildable under water. It would be easy to use, still hittable and incur time penalty when building land stuff in deep sea.

I agree.

This would also be great for things like nukes, anti and shields.

I agree, though if using the default terraform speed, it should probably be made faster.

I was thinking of a widget that makes a spire of the required height then flattens. Exactly the same as the current setup but with no micro.

That'd probably be more complicated than needed and end up with platforms that are the wrong size for the object etc.

If you could just make it flatten the terrain to the desired height first...

Yeah it should be specialized kind of terraform, basically "level to needed height and shape of structure".

If sea energy was slightly better than land, we wouldn't need to worry about building fusions at sea. For example: Tidal Generator on seabed (very good, tidal based) and Wave Generator at surface (even better, wind based).

Still needed? Most things float and nuke/bb etc... can be done manually. Bombers can kill underwater things.
