Sharpshooter LoS too short

Description

It is really short just compared to other units alone, (less than glaive's), but the unit has a missile tower range too!

Thats bug introduced by saktoth. Standardization scripts set LOS of all units with range < 600 to range+10%

Would increasing sniper range from 600 to missile tower's 610 work? Or did I misunderstand this somehow?

we did, ages ago. Units with short range have los>range to not be extremely annoying and game boring to watch (Radar dots)

Sniper is on the border of short and long range. I say leave it.

Sniper is an artillery type unit. The fact artillery units have such long ranges is very wrong, imo. They are meant to be used with spotters, yet instead, in a mixed group, they give -other- units LoS.

The sniper is meant to synergize specifically with the spy- the spy is meant to spot for it.

How this will work under 1faction, when the units are in different factories, im not sure.
