I think there's a bit too much metal left after battles. Too much slippery slope for winning an early engagement and can become more important than mexes.

I disagree. It was added PRECISELY to avoid slippery slope! And It has been successful.

Suiciding on enemy defenses is clean gain for attacked person.

And if enemy kills your base but allies drive them off you can rebuild.

Person who won battle does not have to be the one who gets advantage from metal there.

I feel it helps me to rebuild and advance even if I have less territory.

Well I dont feel that corpse metal is high but instead difference of corpse vs mex metal can be small.

Try playing a bit with higher multiplier like 1.3, it feels better to me.

Also advantage of 50% is that its nicer and rounder.

It is slippery slope when someone wins a battle by a very small margin which allows them to reclaim.

It is so effective against base raiding slippery slope that base striking has become unviable. I would like the possibility of launching a flanking attack and causing more damage to the enemy's economy than they gain from reclaim. Currently flanking only really works early on with 30% raider corpses, even then they often drop more M than they killed and the only bonus is economic disruption. Mid-lategame it is very hard to disrupt an economy and high wreck units are required to attack bases. The wreck difference could also be contributing to powerful raiders as their 30% wreck allows them to operate in enemy territory.

That doesn't make sense. More mex income means more units means more wrecks. Theoretically there should be no difference in mex:reclaim ratio. In practise maps can only a have a certain number of units in combat so the multiplier may be spent more on defence.

Also advantage of 50% is that its nicer and rounder.

I also like round numbers

I dont like the 30% raider corpses. Does this also apply to raiders?

Maybe on one unit like the Pyro that explodes, as a feature, but having corpse values all over the place is a bit iffy. I know i know, it, and regen, were my ideas, which i no longer support, to make raiders more special and less universal, but i think they should be special abilities on a raider rather than something all raiders possess.

Ill make a few more votes on what to do with the other corpse values.
