Release stable as soon as we're sure there are no serious bugs.

We really need a new stable. It has been too long. The only thing I can think of that is holding us back is the chili ui; which has some pretty serious bugs.

Perhaps disable it for new stable? (assuming of course that the bugs aren't yet fixed)
