Base wind rate is better than fusion.

Description

Wind 0.2-2.5 = 1.35 average. 35 / 1.35 = 25.92 m/e. Fus 1000/35 = 28.57 m/e Solar is 30 m/e Geo is 18.75 Superfus is 17.77 (actually better than geo? hum!)

Wind is worse for overdrive though due to variation, but hills just make it better and better.

HP/M is better too, 3.77/1 to 2/1, as long as you space it enough that it doesnt chain.

I think it would be alright to make winds somewhere between fusion and solar (not that there is much room there), since they get the hill bonus anyway, or do people think that the disadvantages of wind are enough to outweight the benefits?

Im not sure that being more space effecient is enough of an advantage, and i think this is an argument against nerfing the fusion.

They have much worse hp than solar and can't be walled like fusion. The fluctuation is also too much to rely on them much.

If walling is the only advantage to fusions: most players dont do that.

Solar is still good as a 'safe choice' but fusion is not much safer than winds.

They are much safer than wind. Raider kill winds while running past and solars take over 10 seconds each.

I think it is a problem, should be 0-2, so it is only useful on hills, but it rocks on hills. I live almost entirely off wind now.

0-2 is 1 average for 35 m/e, worse than solar. Though 0.5-2 is 1.25 average, as good as fusions for 28 m/e. That requires a bit of a hill though. 0-2.5 is as good as solar at its base rate.

Dunno where we want to go with that.

If det thinks the current 0-2.5 is too good then just prudently change it to 0-2.4 and see how it works out for a while, then redecide.

Wind should be better than fusion. It takes more space than fusion so is much less protectable and has a random output. Height bonus mostly makes safe hills important and gives raiding wind some predictability. Even on a map like dsd there isn't enough space for pure wind.
