Intense fights look awesome

Wow, I just had 1v1 on tnm4 with lvl3 kbots and bombers, explosions look awesome :) Felt like an apocalypse.

But I think that trails behind freedom fighters and some missiles are too opaque (too visible).

    Nice to hear that

    I'll remove the trails from the fighters, if I make them smaller it becomes a series of separate cloudlets. I'll give trails to the bigger, more expensive planes. Hmm, I might make the missile trails more white and more transparent.

      They look beautiful! Nice lil flickers makes them more lifelike unlike huge blazing plumes of smoke. Although, a tiny bit of smoke would be nice, very thin and dissipates fast. Similar to rl engine vapor but far less pronounced and shorter lifespan.

      Too much smoke may look wonderful but has negative effects game play wise. Many congrats on your work so far, its the finest looking mod in spring by far!

        Heheh, thanks. The problem with thin smoke is that you need to use a lot of particles or it will look like a trail of separate little cloudlets. If only we could emit the trails used by rockets... Maybe it's possible to efficiently draw such a trail in Lua.
