Flying Flame thrower.

I have no idea how to mod. Or how this will effect game play.

But A flying Flame thrower for a Core Gunship as they allready have Pyro i think can fit into the mod pretty well.

Form what i can think of this the Damage will below but the AoE will makeup for it as it Toasts the lil' peewee's into scape metal.

Like give it to the bladewing (core emp lvl1 gunship)

Give it 2.5x the range of a normal pyro but really low HP (two jetho shots or three can kill it) around 1/4 the damage a pyro does and make them cost to much to spam :D.

Flame Bladewing: Anti Swarm gunship. Cost-- Hp-- AoE+ Speed+ Or some thing along those lines.

(papares to be assuilted with noes) but i think it can be really neat :D

    I made a joke the other day about a flying flame gunship. It's a good idea, though, it would have to be called the Core Dragon :-)

    Looks like flamethrowers are unfeasible on gunships :/ If i make the flames fast enough to be usable on a gunship, they appear like separate little balls, and behave like wobbly rockets.

      Eh? well that stinks, But dos it just not reach the target? i was kinda hoping for a wide spray that didin't get there right away, so Fast units are hard to kill with it but importent or pure mass can't get away.

      'Edit' If that just Does not work, Can there be a 'fire' ish effect of a Large Spread of bullets? (still wants roit ship!)

      'Edit x2' Bah im not gonna make a new post for each idea intil im replyed to, If that just does not work ether, I think an idea for around 5 missiles (low damage) but Highanuf Impluse to throw tier 1 units around or at least stumble them, that'd be so neat. (Burst fire ownage :D )

        There will sure be planes effective against spam :) I'm not sure yet which form they will have, tough.

          Why not a firebomber? I mean a normal bomber with special firebombs, or give it the normal bomber as secondary fire :x

            I can see it now:

            Dragon: Incendiary Bomber - drops bombs with a large aoe that burn over time, but lack immediate damage. Great for killing bases, horrible for stopping units.

      Actually quant, I gave the DMAW weapon to a rapier and it seems to work fine. The flames are slow, not for hitting fast units, but they absolutely rape buildings and big units.
